The National Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA) has announced that Dennis Mikula, Jr. will serve as its next Chief Executive Officer beginning January 1, 2026. A long-time leader in the construction and land improvement industry, Mikula brings nearly 30 years of executive experience as President of Mikula Contracting, a third-generation excavation, demolition, and environmental services company. He currently serves as President of NJLICA and has been widely recognized for his business leadership, safety initiatives, and community involvement. Mikula’s background includes extensive service on multiple business and civic boards as well as a strong commitment to workforce development and mentorship. National LICA President Jeff Schell noted that Mikula’s deep roots in LICA and his operational expertise make him uniquely qualified to guide the association forward. As CEO, Mikula aims to modernize the organization, strengthen national–state alignment, and enhance member value across the country.
